Since last weekend, 30 of the 32 teams taking part in the 2027 IHF Men’s World Championship in Germany have been confirmed. Which teams will compete in which of the eight preliminary round groups will be decided at the World Championship draw 

on 10 June 2026, from 17:00 CEST at the Hofbräuhaus in Munich.

Interested media representatives can apply for accreditation by mail to mediamanagement@dhb.de from today (18 May) until 3 June, 12:00 CEST. 

Prior to the draw, a media talk will take place at the Hofbräuhaus; following the draw, there will be opportunities for interviews in the mixed zone. The media talk room will also serve as a media work area; a zone for photographers will be set up during the draw. Live broadcasts of moving images of the draw (including via online media) are prohibited for rights reasons.
